Samoset Leadership
Executive Board
The executive board are volunteers elected to govern the council. The board establishes the council program and carries out the resolutions, policies, and activities of the council. The board protects the long-range future of Scouting in our communities.

Council Staff
The staff of the Samoset Council support the efforts of over 1000 volunteers in our fourteen county area. Volunteers function most effectively with the assistance of a trained staff who devotes their careers to Scouting. Their function is to coordinate programs, furnish guidance in Scouting methods, and assist in the recruitment, training and inspiration of volunteers.
